“Walktober - Explore Lane County” was created in 2023 by the Lane Council of Governments.
We are now in our 2nd year of celebrating!

The goal of Walktober in Lane County is to get people out and exploring their community through walking. Walking is a mode of transportation people sometimes take for granted. It has great impacts on mental and physical wellbeing, as well as one’s sense of connection to their community! We want to share our love for walking with you, and we hope you will join us during Walktober, and beyond.
